Frightfest 2011!

Yesterday was a well-spent day with Marcus dear! :D Met him in the afternoon and we had fun playing with Siri. LOL. But Siri really cannot read Singlish. Anyway, we had HK Kim Gary at Tampines 1 for dinner before heading down for Frightfest at Singapore Flyer!

The queue at Frightfest was pretty long. Marcus was able to join us! :D We were entertained by Jian Xiong's stories as we waited for our turn. Just before us, there was this group in front of us. The eunuch from inside came out and scared one guy. The guy had an epic reaction I swear. HAHAHAHA. Anyway, I don't know why the hell I was screaming so much. I think I won't be scared if I walked alone or something. Weird right! And and! I saw Jiahui! My childhood friend from CHIJ Kellock Primary! She was one of the scarer over there.

We had a free drink after the tour. Headed off to home because it's late. Thank god there was a bus straight home outside Flyer. Hehe.

We conquered Frightfest! Let's go for USS next year! :D

Rainy week

It has been a pretty rainy week this week. TGIF! Gonna be down for flea this weekend again. Saturday will be at Singapore Flyer. Sunday at scape! And I will be going for Frightfest at Singapore Flyer on Sunday! Really hoping that I don't get freaked out that much. Hahahaha.

This week has been a week of muscle ache. Been doing quite a bit of PT this week. Hope to keep it up.

I'm currently very broke to the extent that I'm eating into my savings. November, please hurry come! I have been shopping and buying too many things. Need to control my impulsion! Maybe I should learn from "Confession of a Shopaholic" and ask myself, "Do I need this?" Yeah, I totally should, but in the end, I will turn that idea away and just buy. Argh.

Anyway, I accompanied Marcus and his family to get their iPhone 4S at the launch. Make me wanna own an iPhone too.... Lol!!

Option choice;

Soon, I have to make decision on what to take for year 3. Hotel management or facilities management.

I can't make up my mind on which option to choose. Hotel management, I will get to experience different things, contact and create memories with different hotel guest everyday. Facilities management, same old boring things everyday, but it is a very stable career. It's the stable career for my future that is making me lost. I can't decide on anything. There are so many factors to weigh. I guess, I will just think about it as time goes by.

Small things matters.

To me, big or small, actually everything does matter. Because these details are things that allows me to further understand you as a person. It may just simply mean something which you may think it is.

Just downloaded a new app so that I can blog with my itouch! Hehe. Damn cool! Can kill time during lectures or tutorial by blogging. Heh heh.

First day of school

8.30am class today. I met Hwee Ping on the bus today. Yay! Got company on the way to school. Anyway, the modules for today was super dryyyyy. And the notes are getting thicker as next module comes. Gosh. Finally had FC1's Yong Tau Foo and Lychee Red Tea. Heh heh. Like a happy girl. Back to stoning life at club again. Haha.

Last week of holidays;

This is the last week of holidays. Gotta admit that I had a blasting time. How I wish holidays was longer. I'm dreading the early hours of school. 8.30am for Monday and Tuesday; 8am for Wednesday. Madness. I think I will be mentally and physically drained by Tuesday night every week. Mm.. I have to admit I'm also looking forward this new semester with new modules.
I think ever since CC, my appetite seems a bit screwed up. I don't tend to feel hungry and I get full after eating a bit. Weird much?

I wanna head off for a short getaway soon, but it seems really impossible. My parents are gonna give excuses like "No, it's too dangerous for you to go.", "Are you going to be the only girl?", "You have never been overseas on your own.". The excuses they give are never ending. Still thought maybe I can try to head out to JB for one day or something, but it's really really impossible. Sigh. I wanna have my piece of fun too. Is it that difficult to get it? Then whenever I can't go, I always have to give the same reason. My parents. Going overseas with my friends without the school etc is something I wish for, A LOT.

Oh well, I guess I will just end my holidays on a low note.

Remaining weeks of my holiday.

Connection Camp was last week! It was my first time being a GP for a camp. Quite an eye-opener for me. Totally not used to it. But it felt really good to go through camp songs and teaching the year 1s camp song. Feels like the GLs times. Hehe. Anyway, got to say it was well done overall! Good job everybody!! (:
After break camp, me, Marcus, Juntian, Aixin, Nicole, Joshua Singh, Junchai and Edward went for Nihon Mura buffet. I swear I got a phobia of buffet after that day. We had so much leftover food!

Scary much huh.

The day after Connection Camp, I actually didn't intend to go out. But I still headed out because I was feeling bored at home. Went to meet Marcus dear for dinner! Then we happened to bump onto the others who just finished Kiseki and went to "play" pool after that.

My boyfriend the wanted man. HAHAHAHA. Wanted by me. HAHAHAHA.

Fast forward to Sunday's CS event. Stayed over at Marcus' house with about 10 people. Woke up super early. I was some evaluation surveyor. I seriously had a problem when it comes to translating the words into Chinese for the elderly. End up some of them helped with the words. Cute max. 

KBox after lunch at Bedok Point! Almost everybody paid the money to sleep inside. But the environment was really good for sleeping. The place was also good for sleeping. I didn't fall asleep though. Gosh, I really miss staying at Bedok.

Last week of holidays! Hope to do something fulfilling before the week end!

Phuket!

Went to Phuket last week from 27th Oct to 30th Oct. All of us were pretty hyped up for this trip because we're taking a plane! LOL!! Shall blog about the times over there.

Day 1:
Headed down to the airport at 5.30am. Omg. Freaking early. Anyway, shall just fast forward to when we are in Phuket. On our way to the villa, the girls were in one bus with no lecturers. The bus driver really scared the hell out of us. Because the driver was seem paying a large sum of money to the security then all of us thought that we were going to be sold or something. Paranoid much. The driver even stop to talk on the phone and he suddenly got off and banged something. Scary~
When we got into our villa, all of us were awed by it. It was really big! And not too long later, the rain came pouring down and it gotta be one of the heaviest we have ever seen in our life. Miscommunication all over and that made us wait in the rain. I swear it was freaking cold. Lunch was okay only, but I was glad to have noodles with soup. It just warms me up (: We proceeded for outdoor activities. We still continued playing while it drizzles. We played games that I have played before during some CSCC events and it helps! LOL! Unknowingly, our group won! Woooo~! Dinner was pizza and each of us had a pizza each. NOT A SLICE OF PIZZA. We definitely couldn't finish it. After dinner, we did some shopping at the supermarket outside.

Day 2: 
This day was the study part of our trip. We had talks with different departments and learnt different things. We learnt how to fold elephant towels! And during this tour around the resorts, we had to move around on a bike. I don't know how to cycle, so I "hitched" a ride from Shee Yee. She's really scary cyclist. Anyway, we headed down to another resort before we did some shopping! There was this outlet called Jim Thompson. It sells a lot of pouches. Damn. Kind of regretting that I didn't get pouches instead. We found this shop that sold a shirt for 100 baht! We also saw a baby elephant! We ended the day playing Truth and Dare with each other.

Day 3:
This is shopping day! We went to Wat Chalong temple. Beside the temple, there is this area selling rather cheap stuffs! I bought a cuff, a bag, pouches and a sun dress! Weeeee~~! Batik factory was next, but we only stayed for 5 mins. Next was CASHEW NUTS FACTORY! The cashew nuts are really nice to eat. Bought back a few to eat, but I think it's gonna finish soon :( The highlight of the day... Patong! I really shopped a lot and I almost spent all my money. LOL. I love the bikini we bought. We bargained until it's 200 baht!
We had a farewell dinner at one of the villa and it was time to get wet after that. We got pushed or jumped into the pool. We then continue swimming at our own villa. Shiokness.

Day 4: 
Finally had a decent breakfast throughout this trip. Haha. There was sharing session and after that we had our free and easy time before heading off to the airport. I bought some more stuffs there! Oh no. LOL!
