Capella;

Yeap, as the title said, my internship will be at Capella Hotel, Sentosa. Apparently it's one of Singapore's 6 star hotel. It's the place where Stefanie Sun held her wedding at.

I am glad that I got my wish. I was hoping to work at one of the hotels at Sentosa. And I've got Capella. The only thing is, I am the only intern that they are sending over. So I don't know if that is good or bad. I wonder what's my pay too. Hope it's good because apparently those who got MBS, got a pretty good pay.

TGIF;

It's Friday! School obviously passed really quickly this week. LOL. 

Exam is coming! :( Last paper on 29th Feb.

I wanna do some things before my internship starts! 

Like shopping, short getaway trip, gatherings, USS and many others which I can't think right now.

A short getaway trip for 2D1N is good enough. I just want to get out of Singapore before I get stuck here for another 6 months. Yes, my internship is for 6 months. Or maybe I should just plan one after my internship since I'm gonna have like more than 2 months of holidays? We'll see.

I was looking through my facebook pictures and I came across all these pictures. It is going to be a year already. Lots of memories were created back then during this period of time. This is a period whereby I won't get to go through again. I will treasure these precious memories.

Chinese New Year;

The usual 2 days of visiting is over and thank goodness today is holiday for SP students! Went out with my family, godparents, uncle and auntie for lunch before going to a temple to pray. We had Paradise Inn at Bedok Point for lunch. Wanted to take some pictures but I was too hungry to wait. Haha! The food is really good! Only thing is that, it's better to eat it together with rice because some of the dishes are rather salty. I had Gong Cha after sooo long. I just ignored my cough and went ahead with it! :D

Anyway, I shall talk a little about the first 2 days of my CNY!

First Day: 
Woke up super duper early to go visit my grandmother and uncle to have our usual CNY breakfast. We had to reach before 9am. Gosh. Anyway, I didn't eat much as compared to the previous years. I guess my flu and cough really got to me. I ate some food in minimal amount to prevent my throat from being worse. My aunt then took out this jelly that really looks like a fish and the jelly's good!

 This is fish jelly I'm talking about! Lychee-flavoured. Niceeee.

The afternoon was just lazing around and waiting for steamboat. Also, I didn't eat much :/ But the food was good! Spent the night watching Ip Man 2. I can never get sick that movie! The fighting scenes never fail to amaze me but showing it on a Mediacorp channel means the movie will be edited. -.-

Second day: 

I went to dear's house to bai nian first for today! We watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 for a little while before heading off to my godmother's house! We had our usual ban luck game! Was too busy playing so I didn't take any picture today! But sadly, my adorable nephew was sick and he went home early to rest :( If not everybody would be playing away with him! I always forget to take a photo with my cousins every year. Lol. Dinner was mee siam. Omg. Sooooo spicy. My godmother really know how to cook spicy food! 

It's back to school tomorrow :(

Happy Chinese New Year!

Had a really early reunion dinner this year! That's why I am home so soon. But the sad thing is I've got a flu and cough now. Sigh... What a way to celebrate CNY. But, I shall not let that come in my way. Went down to my grandfather's place earlier in the afternoon and we had really late lunch! Steamboat for lunch! :D After reunion dinner, we went down to River Hongbao at the floating platform!

It's the year of Dragon!

Anyway, I spent my Saturday shopping with dear dear! I finally bought a clutch bag that I have always been trying to find! I also bought 2 tops at Bugis Street! Shopped at Orchard before meeting dear's classmates at KPO.

Tried putting on makeup yesterday. Lol. I just tried my luck at putting eyeliner out for the day. It smudged a little! :( I also didn't know I was able to put on makeup so quickly. Haha! :D

G.N.O;

It was a girls night out with Wendy, Shu Si, Cecilia and Sam! We went to have steamboat at Xian Pin Guo in Joo Chiat. Had lots of laugh during dinner. It was buffet steamboat, but we didn't order a lot actually! Went to have some ice cream at coccogelo. We bought a tub with 2 flavours, Nutella Crunch and Cookie Monster!

We then walked over to Parkway Parade as we tried to finish up the ice cream. We found a random spot and started taking some photos! <3

Thank you dear for surprising me and accompanying me down today! <3 Lucky we were able to meet on the right bus!

Also, this afternoon, I made a satisfying shopping trip to Jurong Point and Clementi Mall. There was a Smoochiezz flea at Jurong Point and I got a eyeshadow primer and eyeshadow set. Got my lipstick too. Although I took really long to decide on the colour. Hehe. 

CNY is coming! Looking forward to the 5 days holiday!! Hope this will be a fun one! 

Back to School - Fashion Show;

Skipped school today because I was really wayyyy too tired and my throat didn't feel too good too. Apparently, quite a number of my classmates did not go to school today too. Lol.

Yesterday was our class event - Back to School Fashion Show! I was one of the model for the event. Lol. Did a light makeup before I headed down to school. I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror lah. *shy* Did the setting up of our runway and decorations before I changed into the clothes that I'm supposed to wear. Thank you Daphne for helping me with the makeup too! :D We did 3 rounds of fashion show. I was walking out with Kevin and Penelope. My classmates in Year 3!

After the event, I decided to go for Cultural's supposedly buffet event. I only enjoyed the mee soto. Headed home early and I was physically drained.

Friday:
I had no school on that day. But I went with Marcus dear at night to celebrate our 7th month! :D It was just a simple dinner at Bedok Blk 85. I was a Bedok girl for 10 years and finally, I went to Blk 85! We were super full after dinner. Didn't even feel like getting up. Haha! Bedok Interchange has changed soooo much!

Saturday:

Woke up early for CS' Spring Cleaning event! Got located at Bedok. You all should see Marcus dear's expression when they told us we got Bedok. Haha. It was easy to clean up the house and halfway, I ended up talking to the uncle and getting to know him. We were done in about less than 2 hours! Marcus dear and I went to the hawker centre at Bedok Interchange and ate my favourite pork chop! :D 

Pathetic serving right? It cost me $6! But nvm, now I can only have it once in a while.

Went to dear's house after that. Knocked off immediately. We were so tired. So we decided to whip up our own dinner! I was the assistant cook! :D Our meal was made up of (from left) Tofu with minced meat, prawn omelette and fish with teriyaki sauce! :D Yummy dinner! Heh heh. Obviously with rice and yes, pepsi.  

And and, my nephew was at my godmother's place! Such an adorable boy. My godmother just stays at the block besides mine, for now.

Sunday:

Today is family day! Went out in the morning to pray my grandfather. Lunched with my grandmother and aunt. My mum told them that I got a boyfriend. Lol! 

The convo goes like this:

Grandma: You got boyfriend?

Me: Erm...

Grandma: You cannot have boyfriend ah. Must focus on studies.

Mum: She got boyfriend already.

Grandma: Ah really! *smiles brightly*

360 degrees change in expression. Lol! 

Anyway, as for shopping today, I got Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets. This is to remove makeup on the spot. I also got Za Ever Liner For Eyes (Black) and accessories from Forever 21! It's for DHLFM Night: Back to Basics. 

Dinner was Indonesian cuisine at Paragon! Yummy! :D I wore my wedges out today. Gotta say it's pretty comfortable but it started to hurt after I almost trip :/

Took a polaroid with the model at Abercrombie and Fitch. Sadly, the people there today aren't the good looking ones we saw the other day :(

Lastly, our Fashion show event is on Tuesday! People reading my blog now, please do support us! :D

Round-up;

School has officially ended for the week! Because my lesson is cancelled tomorrow. Awesomeeee. Haven't really got to blog these few days. Shall do a round-up about my week! :D

Tuesday: 
Went to Civil Defense Academy today! The visit was really an eye-opener. We got to experience how it like to be in a real-life fire situation. There was explosion and roll-over. Roll-over is where the fire goes up to the ceiling and it starts burning. All of us were squatting under it for like 5 seconds. Omfg. Felt like dying. The fire was soooo hot. Found out that it was burning at 700 degree Celsius. Thank god, we survived! It was followed by some boring demo talk and we got to try how to put bandages for head, collarbone and arm. It was pretty fun!

Went back to school to find out Year 3 option placing and when is internship. I'm in class 01 and my internship is from March to August. Screw this. I already had some plans nicely lay out and now I can't go ahead with it. Sighhh.

Stayed back to wait for Marcus dear to be done with FOT. We took some pictures today!

Wednesday:
School was as normal. Except that Marcus came down to FC1 during my lesson time! I accompanied him for a little while before he headed back to work. I was actually planning to surprise Marcus dear by popping down to Tampines at night. But me being me, I somehow couldn't contain the surprise and decided to let him know. Super fail surprise. I also made a fail dinner order :( Spent some time together before I headed home!  '

Today:
I have no motivation to be on time for PR classes now. Sigh. Anyway, I had CRS test today. I felt that I wrote out of point somehow. It just felt weird as I read but I didn't care. Just wanna get done and over with it. Mum cooked dinner! And I started choosing what I wanted for steamboat dinner on the first day of CNY. The must-have cheese tofu! :D Heh heh.

Just like any other typical day;

Just like what my title said, it's just another typical day. Went to school as normal with the usual Monday blues.

Anyway, went down for Desmond's birthday party yesterday at Farrer Park. It made me think about this. I am turning 21 next year. Noooooooo. I still wanna enjoy my current life with no worries etc! :(

Spent my half of my Saturday in school doing open house and settling our fashion show event stuffs. Spent the other half of the day shopping with Marcus dear! He bought more things than me! I only bought one dress, which I didn't know I can actually wear it for DHLFM Night! Unknowingly settled one of headaches. I finally went into Abercombie and Fitch! The 2 guys standing outside the store! *melts* I was actually shy to take a polaroid shot with the guy inside can! Marcus dear kept asking to go and take, but cannot lah. So shy! >.< I take with my boyfriend can already ^^ Hahahahaha.

I should sleep soon! Good thing class starts late tomorrow! Going to SCDF for site visit tomorrow! Kind of excited! :D

Week 1 of 2012;

One week has passed by. It has been a pretty busy week as I have been staying in school until quite late. Many things happened this week.

Respect. It's the most basic manner one should have. For me, I think if you lose it, you don't have the rights to receive any respect too. This way, you are making your friends lose respect for you too.

Life is never easy. You need to face the harsh reality world one day and only then will you be able to learn and grow. Walking away seems like you don't dare to face it because you're afraid. This is just my personal comments. No offense.

SP Star. The event is finally over. Gotta say it's really wayyyyy different from last year's. I wonder why can't they just continue at the convention centre. It would be soooo much better.

Spent my Friday night with Marcus dear! We walked to Resorts World, hoping to enter Universal Studios at night to catch the fireworks. But it was closed -.- Went to watch the crane show and we got wet because the crane structure was spraying water and the wind was directed at us. Drenched.

Going back to school on Saturday for open house. I shall just grab some sweets for myself tomorrow.

School starts tomorrow. Argh. Totally not ready for school. My notes are like all over the place. I don't even know where I placed them after MST. Need to start finding them soon. School starts at 8.30am tomorrow. Gosh, I am gonna have problem waking up seriously. Can't believe Year 2 is ending soon then comes April and I will be Year 3! Ohmy, why time passes so fast when we're in poly? If only time can slow down. I don't wanna end poly life so soon. Because it's gonna be the reality after poly. Sigh.

Wanted to go out today, but my mum and I couldn't think of a place and we're feeling pretty much lazy. LOL. Shall see where my dad wanna go later.Had lunch at Tiong Bahru Market. Ate chee kueh! We finally managed to eat the original chee kueh from Tiong Bahru. Awesomezxc. Mum ordered fried oyster, but I was too focused on the chee kueh. LOL.

CNY is coming soon! Got all my clothes for CNY already. I even got shoes! Wow. I actually got myself a red top for Chinese New Year.

K, time for me to watch True Blood now! Feeling rather deprived from vampire shows because there is no new episode from Vampire Diaries. But good news is, it's starting again this week. Like a finally!!

2012!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!

It's a brand new year ahead. A year with new things, challenges and many more waiting for us!

Had countdown at Glenda's house yesterday! There were 4 couples present. Haha. Had steamboat for dinner. After dinner, we played quite a few games. Like 百家乐, which we lost quite a lot. Haha! Then played this strategy game before we decided a game to see how well you understand your partner. Haha! Marcus dear and I scored not bad. Hehe.

Took a few photos with the couples. And we spent the last hour playing heart attack. I have to say we had a pretty fail countdown because some of them were to engross in playing bridge!! Then we couldn't react in time to spray the thingy. Lol. Super fail countdown and lots to clean up after that. Lol!
